Take me away from this place
of insane consciousness
into a world of distant thought
and realities of those daring to imagine

This asylum in which I lie
deprives me of life and love
the glories of which I have never seen
but yearn to know and cherish

Rescue my soul
Take away my past
Show me your world
Help me create that of my own

Hold me tight
for I fear I will lose you
into a world I am lost within
yet cannot survive without

Save me from the hate I have
Save me from the pain I feel
Save me from the world I am in
Save me from myself
